Old Kinne Farmhouse? Actually, it's the American Thread Company

Inside of the building. Lore says it was willed to Thomas Kinne, Jr. in 1756. However, a neighbor (Iva Arpin) researched the history and says, "Hundreds of acres of land in this area were damned and flooded in 1863 for a papermill. It went bankrupt in two years. The American Thread Company bought up all that land and erected a mill village, known as Glasgo, and with a large mill complex on this site. I have pictures of it and have owned and lived (22yrs) in the supervisor's old home." Photo courtesy of Sheila McClelland.
