[89] closed. The brethren desired me to say and decide some grievance with Bro. Stott and the council, but could not do it so I said I would inform Bro. Ray. Supper and lodgings with Witworths.

June 18, Wednesday, Tottington

Breakfast with Witworths, dinner with Duckworths. Traveled to a village near Tottington, where I had tea with 3 sisters who had met together. Went to Bro. Walsh. Accompanied him to meeting. We had a good time. Supper and lodgings with Bro. Walsh.

June 19, Thursday, Pendlebury

Breakfast with Bro. Walsh and dinner. We had a good talk together about various things. Left after dinner. Through Bury, called to see Sister Lord and had tea. As it was raining, would make it unpleasant walking, I decided to ride the train to Clifton. Had a good meeting in [90] Pendlebury, supper & lodgings at home.

June 20, Friday, 123

Breakfast at home. Walked down to 123, found Bro. Kay engaged. I got out parcels. He give me some advice about a man at Leigh who I had said something about which was not very nice. Desired me to be careful. I said I would. Dinner together in a cook shop. Come to 123, stayed a while, had another walk out in the evening, returned and slept together.

June 21, Saturday, Duckenfield

Breakfast together. I went for Bro. Kay's coat to Market St. He gave me some good instruction advising me to be careful, etc.

I left him for Duckenfield. I was very hungry so I called and got a little dinner, tea at Bro. _____ at Clayton, met a woman who said she knew me. Desired to call and see them. Lived in the same row
