[33] April 26, home

Breakfasted with Bro. Rothwell and pursued my way to home. Had dinner at home and tea with sister Lusy, and passed a few hours with my old friend and Bro. Pitts, and visited Bro. James Snape(?). I had quite a good time with the Saints. Supper with Bro. Greenhalgh and slept at home.

April 27, Sunday, Radcliffe

Breakfast at home, and took train from Clifton to Bury. Found my [word missing?] to Tottington. Received the report, had dinner with Bro. Walsh, who is Prest. of the branch. Walked down to Bury. Had a good meeting in the afternoon. Tea with Bro. Entwistle, received the report; he accompanied me on my way a little to Radcliffe.

Found the Saints at meeting. A good spirit had been with them during [34] the whole of the day, as they had been fasting until noon. They had good meeting and rejoiced in each other's company. I spoke during the evening upon the rise and progress of the Kingdom of God, felt well under the influence of the Spirit.

Bro. Schofield in a good lively spirit, spoke a short time unto the Saints. Meeting closed with Prayer from myself. Supper and lodgings with Sister Holt. Slept with Bro. James Barlow.

April 28, Mosley

Breakfasted with Holts, and in company with Bro. James Barlow I went on my way over the fields to Middleton, it being very warm but very pleasant through the fields. We enjoyed our walk but was rather fatigued. Had dinner with Bro. Joseph Eckersley, and got the
